Exhibitors Guidelines and Information
Great Lakes Bioneers Chicago is pleased to offer exhibitor space on Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3, 2013 to businesses and not-for-profit organizations with missions and operating philosophies consistent with the values and mission of Bioneers. Exhibitors are expected to meet the criteria and guidelines below. We require that all materials, literature, and handouts reflect these values.

The services and approaches of businesses and organizations wishing to exhibit must substantially meet the following criteria.  They must:

  • Promote the health and welfare of the planet and all living systems
  • Be sustainable, looking ahead to future generations (employing or supporting closed loop versus linear systems of resource cycling).
  • Be environmentally and socially just (built on respect, fairness, inclusivity,diversity).

Great Lakes Bioneers Chicago reserves the right to decline any exhibitor at any time, at its discretion.

Half tables are priced at $175.00 and full tables are $250.00 for both days (Saturday and Sunday).  We will not have exhibit space available on Friday.  This fee includes the table, two tickets (providing entry into workshops and main stage area) and lunch for up to two exhibitors (Saturday and Sunday).

Exhibiting Logistics
Hours of Operation
The Exhibit Hall will be open during all program hours on Saturday and Sunday. Exhibit tables must be staffed and open and must remain staffed and prepared to interact with attendees on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:15 PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:15 PM. Staffing before and after these times is open to the discretion of the exhibitor.

The Exhibitor’s area will be located in the historic Fainman Lounge, located on the second floor of the Auditorium Building at Roosevelt University and in close proximity to the bookstore and other conference gathering spaces. Please note that access to program areas on Friday requires separate registration. Tickets are available online at or may be purchased on site during the event.


Set Up
Exhibitors are responsible for the setup of their exhibits. Exhibitors may begin to set up at 7:00 AM on Saturday, November 2, 2013. Set-up must be completed by 10:00 am on that day.

Load Out
Equipment load out may begin at 3:15 PM on Sunday, November 3rd. All materials must be removed from the building by 5:00 PM on that evening.

Exhibitors are responsible for the security of their own property and equipment at all times. While limited security personnel will be on duty during the event‚ no security personnel will be assigned specifically to the Exhibitor’s area.

All Exhibitors are encouraged to promote Great Lakes Bioneers Chicago through their websites‚ newsletters‚ e-mailings‚ calendars‚ and other opportunities as available.

Exhibiting Requirements and Expectations

  • Samples and sales are welcome. Exhibitor shall be fully and solely responsible for meeting all state and local licensing and permitting requirements.
  • Non-profit groups may solicit memberships.
  • All exhibit displays and signage must be on tables or freestanding (with advance permission). Banners and other materials may not be secured to walls or other building structure.
  • Exhibitors must not interfere with the safety, success, and effectiveness of GLB-C. This includes, but is not limited to, behavior, display materials, literature, venue, equipment or operations, unusual odors, noise levels or extending beyond the exhibitor space and/or blocking public passageways.
  • All waste materials must be placed in appropriate containers in accordance with the GLB-C recycling and waste management procedures. A $50 fee may be assessed to any area left unclean.
  • Subletting exhibitor space in part or in its entirety is not permitted.
